I just washed my iPod in the washer. What can I do to save it?
I had heard alchohol solutions of help, is this true or are there alternatives? Your speed is most appreciated!!

There is no guarantee that anything will help, but here is the standard advice for a wet iPod. DO NOT mess with at ALL, this includes turning on, docking, anything! The more you fool with it, the greater chance moisture is being pulled into the unit. Put it somewhere, preferably on absorbent material, giving it at least a week to try to dry out.br I have heard that placing the iPod in a container of uncooked rice may help, as the rice may help absorb moisture. Weird, I know.br Do not use anything like a hairdryer to try to speed up drying as this may also force moisture further into the iPod. The bad news is that the presence of any soap or other laundry products will probably very damaging to the ipod, so dont be surprised if the iPod is trashed. br The other bad news is that this is not covered under warranty or AppleCare. brGood Luck!
